The Civil Aviation Department today approved applications from Cathay Pacific and Nepal Airlines to maintain their fuel surcharges for November.
Cathay's fuel surcharges remain at $71 for short-haul flights and $328 for long-haul flights. Nepal Airlines' charges remain at $239.
The department considered changes in the price of aviation fuel, the justification airlines provide, and other factors like charges other airlines levy, in considering the applications.
