Photo show looks back to the '70s
*
Old Wan Chai Post Office

Looking back: Photos of the old Wan Chai Post Office are among the historic shots being displayed in the Faces & Places: Heritage Photo Exhibition.

*

An exhibition of more than 100 photos of Hong Kong in the 1970s and '80s will be shown at the Central Police Station Compound September 12 to October 14.

The shots were taken during surveys of Western District and Mid-Levels, capturing the urban environment and way of life of the time.

The Faces & Places: Heritage Photo Exhibition will open to the public daily from 10am to 7pm.

Five talks on Hong Kong history will be held at the compound's Headquarters Block. Click here for details.

The exhibition will move to the Heritage Discovery Centre October 17 to November 11.
