Ping Ha Road to be upgraded

Civil Engineering Department

The Civil Engineering & Development Department has awarded a $100 million contract to increase the road capacity to relieve traffic congestion on Ping Ha Road at Ha Tsuen, Tin Shui Wai.

 

The works will begin March 30 and will finish in about two years, creating 116 jobs.

 

The contract comprises the widening and realignment of the section between Sha Chau Lei and Hung Tin and Tin Ying Roads, including the widening of a vehicular bridge, construction of noise barriers, retaining walls, footpaths, cycling tracks, stormwater drains, waterworks and landscaping.
