Property sales up 60%

Land Registry

The Land Registry received 8,062 sale and purchase agreements for all types of building units in March, up 59.9% over February, but down 26.7% on March last year.

 

The total consideration of these agreements was $28.6 billion, up 80.1% over February, but down 35% on March last year.

 

Among the 8,062 sale and purchase agreements, 7,102 were for residential units, up 58.3% over February, but down 25.6% year-on-year.

 

The total consideration of these agreements was $25.4 billion, up 86.8% over February but down 32% on March last year.
