Modifications to infrastructure works at the Tseung Kwan O Stage I Landfill Site for recreational development were gazetted today.

Construction will start late this year for completion in 2011.

The modifications include relocation of the proposed cycle park, provision of grasscrete paving along the toe of the landfill site, and conversion of a section of the existing track proposed to be permanently closed into temporarily closed.

Other works are the provision of a section of track and revision of the proposed landscaping area, and realignment of sections of the proposed cycle track and footpath.

The work plans are available during office hours for public inspection at the Central & Western District Office public enquiry service centre, Sai Kung District Office's Tseung Kwan O Sub-Office public enquiry service centre and Sai Kung Lands Office.
