Elevated walkways to Tamar site proposed

*

The construction of two elevated walkways across Harcourt Road and Tim Mei Avenue was published in the Gazette today.

The works will meet pedestrian demand from the Tamar Development Project. Works include an elevated walkway across Harcourt Road connecting Tamar and the footpath adjacent to Admiralty Centre, and a covered elevated walkway across Tim Mei Avenue to connect the Tamar and Citic Tower Elevated Walkway System.

Some sections of the existing carriageways, footpaths and amenity areas will be temporarily or permanently closed and reconstructed.

The plan is available for public inspection at the Central & Western District Office and District Lands Office (Hong Kong West & South) during office hours. Any objections should reach the Secretary for Transport & Housing at 16/F Murray Building, Garden Road, Hong Kong, on or before January 27.
