Secretary for Development Carrie Lam will visit Nanjing on November 2 to attend the fourth session of the World Urban Forum. 

The forum is jointly organised by UN-Habitat and the Ministry of Housing & Urban-Rural Development. The forum's theme is harmonious urbanisation.

Mrs Lam will participate in the Minister's roundtable discussion to share Hong Kong's experience in urban development.

Mrs Lam will also visit the Nanjing 1912 Commercial Street and Nanjing 1865 Creativity Industrial Park to see how the historic buildings in these areas are preserved and revitalised.

She will also meet officials of the Ministry of Housing & Urban-Rural Development.

She will return to Hong Kong on November 4.
