The Electrical & Mechanical Services Department has urged consumers not to use one model of Windmere USA WA-HF28 mini hi-fi system for safety reasons.

The department said the internal power transformer of the hi-fi system might have an overheating problem during use, posing a fire hazard risk.

The supplier, MKL Enterprises Limited, has initiated a product recall. According to the supplier, the hi-fi system was redeemed from Mannings Stores between June and July.

For details, call MKL on 2736 9800 or Mannings on 2299 3381.
