The Committee on Slot Complaints will be established on September 1 with the Permanent Secretary for Transport & Housing (Transport) as chairman.
Established under the Transport & Housing Bureau, the advisory body will consider complaints made by airlines and aircraft operators aggrieved by decisions of the Schedule Co-ordinator concerning the allocation of slots for seasonal services, and to give advice on these complaints.
The Deputy Secretary for Transport & Housing (Transport) will act as alternate to the Permanent Secretary. Two members, Larry Kwok and Anthony Tan, will be appointed for two years.
