Shuen Wan drainage works to start
*

The Government plans to build outfall structures and mechanical penstock at Shuen Wan in Tai Po, as part of the proposed drainage-improvement works there.

The work, which will affect an area of approximately 641 square metres of foreshore and sea-bed near Ting Kok Road, is scheduled to begin at the end of this year and be completed by the end of 2011. The extent of the area affected is described in a notice published in the Government Gazette today.

The notice together with its related plan can be seen on notice boards posted near the site. The plan can also be seen at the Lands Department Survey & Mapping Office and Tai Po District Office.

Anyone who has an interest, right or easement in or over the foreshore and sea-bed involved may submit a written objection to the Director of Lands, 20th Floor, North Point Government Offices, 333 Java Road, North Point by July 30.
