Kadoorie Beach footpath to be built
*
Lands Department

The Lands Department intends to build a new concrete footpath to lay over the existing one between Kadoorie Beach and Cafeteria Old Beach.

It lies within an area of about 94.6 square metres of foreshore and seabed.

The works will start in October and are due to be completed by February 2009. A notice on the extent of the area affected is published in the gazette today.

People can view the notice and its related plan which are posted near the site, or at the Lands Department Survey & Mapping Office in North Point and the Tuen Mun District Office.

Anyone who has an interest, right or easement in or over the foreshore and seabed may submit a written objection to the Director of Lands by July 30.
