World Ports Summit
Port of call: Secretary for Transport & Housing Eva Cheng and Director of Marine Roger Tupper attend the World Ports Summit at the Convention & Exhibition Centre.

Secretary for Transport & Housing Eva Cheng and more than 60 global shipping experts have attended the World Ports Summit to discuss port security, safety and environmental protection issues.

 

The two-day summit, hosted by the Marine Department, provides an international forum for port authorities to share their experiences.

 

The nine participating ports are Shanghai, Shenzhen, Rotterdam, Singapore, Los Angeles, Seattle, Melbourne, Busan and Hong Kong.
