Wi-Fi design contest launched
*

The Office of the Government Chief Information Officer is inviting the submission of creative logos and slogans to convey the benefits of the Government Wi-Fi programme.

Hong Kong identity-card holders aged 11 or above can enter. Entrants can submit up to three ideas for each part of the contest by January 25.

A judging panel comprising representatives from the office and the Information Services Department will consider which entries best express the theme and idea of the GovWiFi programme, their overall aesthetic, creativity and suitability for printing.

Winners will receive gift coupons and their winning entries may be displayed on publicity materials and GovWiFi hotspot locations like public libraries, job centres, public enquiry centres, key cultural and recreation centres, community halls, government offices and major parks.

Contest details and application forms can be found here.
