The Highways Department has invited tenders for retrofitting of noise barriers on Tsing Tsuen Bridge at the Tsing Yi and Tsuen Wan approaches.
The works mainly comprise the retrofitting of approximately 1,500-metre noise barriers on the bridge, associated roads and drainage, geotechnical, street lighting and landscaping works, and implentation of an environmental monitoring and audit programme.
The works are expected to begin in December and will take about 42 months to complete.
The construction will be supervised by Ove Arup & Partners Hong Kong, which is appointed by the department's major works project management office.
