*
Lands Department

The Housing, Planning & Lands Bureau has proposed installing a salt-water main in So Kwun Tan Nullah, Tuen Mun. Works are scheduled to start at the end of this year for completion by mid-2011.

The installation works are to enable salt-water supply to Tin Shui Wai, the eastern part of Tuen Mun New Town and Tuen Mun East areas. It will affect an area of about 839 square metres of foreshore and sea-bed at So Kwun Tan Nullah.

Details of the project were gazetted today.

A notice and a plan have been posted on notice boards near the site, and the plan is also available at the Lands Department's Survey & Mapping Office, 23/F North Point Government Offices, 333 Java Road, and the Tuen Mun District Office at the Public Enquiry Service Centre, 2/FTuen Mun Government Offices, 1 Tuen Hi Road, Tuen Mun.

People who object to the proposed works, or have an interest, right or easement in or over the foreshore and sea-bed involved, should write to the Lands Department by July 11.
