Wan Chai development plan published
*

The Town Planning Board has announced an Urban Renewal Authority plaan for a Wan Chai development scheme.

The area spans about 930 square metres, bounded by Stone Nullah Lane, Hing Wan Street, King Sing Street, and a service lane abutting King Sing House.

The plan intends to preserve the historical buildings for cultural, community and commercial uses, with the provision of outdoor open-air public space for recreational use.

The draft plan, DSP No. S/H5/URA2/1, is also available for public inspection during office hours at the Secretariat of the Board, the Planning Enquiry Counters in North Point and Sha Tin, the Hong Kong District Planning Office and the Wan Chai District Office.

Interested parties can send their views on the plan to the Secretary of the Board on or before September 21. Comments received will be available for public inspection.
