Award presentation

Amiable airport: Airport Authority Commercial Director Hans Bakker receives a plaque from the Association of Freight Forwarding & Logistics' David Fielder and Kelvin Leung.

*

Hong Kong International Airport has been named the "Most Friendly Airport for Cargo". The Federation of Asia Pacific Aircargo Associations says it excels in "user-friendliness and cargo ground handling systems".

The Airport Authority, Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals and Asia Airfreight Terminal today received awards from the Hong Kong Association of Freight Forwarding & Logistics, a federation member.

The authority's Chief Executive Officer Dr David Pang welcomed the award, saying it acknowledges the concerted efforts of cargo terminal operators, airlines, ramp handlers and the freight forwarding industry in service innovations and enhancements.
