Tsang Tak-sing arrives in Hefei
Ready for action: Secretary for Home Affairs Tsang Tak-sing arrives in Hefei City, Anhui, to support Hong Kong athletes competing in the Fourth All-China Games.
*

Secretary for Home Affairs Tsang Tak-sing arrived in Hefei City, Anhui, tonight to support Hong Kong athletes competing in the Fourth All-China Games.

As the Chef de Mission of the Hong Kong delegation, he will attend the delegation heads meeting and opening ceremony tomorrow.

He hopes Hong Kong athletes' performance will be enhanced by sharing experiences with Mainland competitors, adding the games will help prepare them for the Asian Games later this year.

Held every four years, the All-China Games is a national multi-sports event for non-Olympic competitions. This year's event, running from tomorrow to May 26, features 34 sports.

Comprising 92 athletes and 32 staff, the Hong Kong delegation will take part in 19 sports, including billiards, body building, bowling, dance sports, golf and squash.
