The Agriculture, Fisheries & Conservation Department invites entries for its endangered species protection wallpaper design competition.
Designs must highlight the theme of protecting endangered plants and animals, such as encouraging compliance with the Protection of Endangered Species of Animals and Plants Ordinance, promoting sustainable use of wildlife resources, or combating poaching and smuggling of animals and plants.
Participants must submit a JPEG file with a slogan included in the design.
It has three sections: junior secondary school, senior secondary and open. A champion, first runner-up, second runner-up and outstanding awards will be selected for each category. An award for active participation will be given to the school with the highest number of submissions.
Winners will receive a certificate and book coupon. They will also be invited to visit the Kadoorie Farm & Botanic Garden to learn more about the protection of endangered species.
