Alert issued on tainted salami
*
Daniele brand Italian sausage
Food alert: People should not eat Daniele brand Italian sausage products with black pepper.
*

The Centre for Food Safety urges people not to eat Daniele brand Italian sausage products with black pepper, including salami, as they could contain salmonella.

Manufacturer Daniele International is recalling the products in the US, and some of them are available in Hong Kong supermarkets, such as Daniele Naturale Salame coated with coarse black pepper 3oz, and Daniele Genoa Salame Pepper 1kg. Supermarkets have been asked to stop selling them.
