A 95-year-old man with hypertension, stroke, heart disease, dementia and human swine flu died at Prince of Wales Hospital today.
He came down with flu symptoms on November 28 and attended the hospital's Accident & Emergency Department on the same day.
He was treated in the isolation ward and was prescribed with antibiotics. The patient remained critical and died in the afternoon today.
The case has been reported to the Hospital Authority and the Centre for Health Protection.
