1,400 surplus HOS flats to be sold
*
Housing Authority

The Housing Authority will sell 1,392 surplus flats under Phase 5 of the Home Ownership Scheme, offering a 30% discount on the assessed market value.

The price of flats in Yau Chui Court Stage I - an unsold block in Yau Tong - will range from $980,000 to $2,290,000. Those for scattered flats in seven other courts will range from $460,000 in Po Ming Court, Tseung Kwan O, to $1,980,000 in Ying Yuk Court, Wong Tai Sin.

The income limit for White Form family applicants will be $23,000 a month and the asset limit will be $790,000. The income and asset limits for one-person applicants will be set at half of the limits for family applicants. It is estimated 82,300 non-owner occupied households in the private sector will be eligible.

Applications for buying the flats will be invited by month's-end. Selection of flats by successful applicants will start in December. Click here for details.
