*
Centre for Health Protection

A 70-year-old Tuen Mun man is in stable condition with Legionnaires' disease, the Centre for Health Protection says.

He has come down with a fever, cough, shortness of breath and dizziness since August 9. He was admitted to Tuen Mun Hospital August 16 and was discharged August 20.

He has no recent travel history.

It is the 27th case of Legionnaires' disease this year. Thirteen were reported last year, 11 in 2007 and 16 in 2006.
