The Centre for Health Protection confirmed the year's sixth case of Legionnaires' disease today, involving a 51-year-old Tuen Mun man.
He came down with a fever, cough, blood-stained sputum, runny nose, shortness of breath and dizziness on April 9. He was admitted to a private hospital on April 15 and was transferred to Queen Elizabeth Hospital today. He is in serious condition.
He travelled to the Mainland during the incubation period.
