Prior to her current position as chief executive of Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole and Tai Po Hospitals, she was Tung Wah Eastern Hospital Chief Executive. She also worked in the Hospital Authority Head Office as Executive Manager.

She replaces Dr Lily Chiu. Authority chief executive Shane Solomon thanked Dr Chiu for her contribution to public healthcare over the years.
