2 ill with Dengue fever

*

The Centre for Health Protection has confirmed two cases of Dengue fever involving a man and a woman who travelled to Indonesia.

 

The 60-year-old man came down with a fever, headache and bone pain on March 20 and was admitted to a private hospital on Hong Kong Island the same day. He was transferred to Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital March 27. He visited Indonesia February 26 to March 20.

 

The 51-year-old woman came down with a fever, headache, muscle pain and a rash on March 16. She visited private doctors and was admitted to Yan Chai Hospital March 24. She travelled to Indonesia January 15 to March 14.

 

Both are in stable condition.
