Traveller recovering from Dengue fever

Centre for Health Protection

The Centre for Health Protection today confirmed a case of Dengue Fever involving a 22-year-old woman who travelled to Vietnam from November 11 to 17.

 

She was admitted to Kwong Wah Hospital on November 27 with a fever and headache. She was discharged yesterday.

 

There have been 41 cases of Dengue fever so far this year. There were 58 cases last year, all imported.
