Man recovers from Dengue fever

Centre for Food Safety

The Centre for Health Protection today confirmed a case of Dengue fever in a 54-year-old man who travelled to Vietnam October 9 to 23.

 

He developed fever, headache and muscle pain on October 26 and was admitted to United Christian Hospital October 30. He was discharged November 3.

 

There have been 39 cases of Dengue fever so far this year. There were 58 cases last year, all imported.
