Centre for Health Protection

The Centre for Health Protection is investigating a Legionnaires' disease case involving a 42-year-old Kwai Ching man.

He came down with fever and cough on October 15. He was admitted to Princess Margaret Hospital on October 22 and is now stable. He had no travel history during the incubation period.

There were 13 Legionnaire's disease cases reported so far this year, with 11 last year and 16 in 2006.  For prevention tips, click here.
