The Centre for Health Protection has confirmed the year's 35th case of Dengue fever, involving a 14-year-old girl who fell ill after visiting Thailand and Shanghai.
She travelled to Thailand September 26 to October 5 and then went to Shanghai where she developed fever, headache and muscle pain.
She sought medical treatment in Shanghai and was admitted to a private hospital upon arrival in Hong Kong October 12. She is now stable.
