Melamine found in EDO Pack almond biscuits
*
Centre for Food Safety

The Centre for Food Safety's melamine test results today have found a sample of EDO Pack Almond Cacao Biscuit Sticks unsatisfactory. It has asked the trade to stop selling the product and the sole agent to recall it.

The level of melamine detected in the product - net weight 36g, best before date: May 17, 2009 - is 8.5ppm, exceeding the 2.5ppm legal limit. People should not eat these biscuit sticks.

Call the centre's hotline - 2381 6096 - from 9am to 6pm for more information on the product.
