Centre for Health Protection

The Centre for Health Protection today confirmed two suspected food poisoning cases involving 21 people who dined in Yuen Long and Aberdeen.

The first case involved two groups of 11 women, aged 15 to 30, who came down with diarrhoea, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting and fever after eating at a restaurant in Yuen Long September 20 and 21.

Four sought treatment from doctors while another attended Tuen Mun Hospital. All are stable.

The second case affected a man and nine women aged 26 to 37 who developed symptoms after eating food from a canteen in a private venue in Aberdeen on September 13.

They did not seek medical attention and have recovered.
