Centre for Health Protection

Sixteen travellers are recovering from food poisoning after eating at a restaurant in Thailand, the Centre for Health Protection says.

The four males and 12 females aged 11 to 67 joined a tour group to Pattaya August 11 to 15 and came down with gastroenteritis symptoms.

Twelve sought medical treatment at Princess Margaret Hospital and Caritas Medical Centre after returning to Hong Kong. No hospitalisation was required.
