A free exhibition on new sports technology will be held at the Science Museum until October 1.

It features displays and videos on the development of sports medicine and sports science in Hong Kong including training equipment to improve athletes' performance. Visitors can test their body flexibility and assess their muscular strength with hands-on exhibits.

A virtual clinic database will also provide information on common types of sports injuries and their treatment. Exhibits include first-aid equipment used for emergency handling of sports injuries.

The Auxiliary Medical Services will perform a rescue demonstration from 2pm to 5pm August 10 at the museum. First aid equipment and rescue vehicles will also be on display. For enquiries call 2732 3232 or click here.
