The Centre for Health Protection has confirmed this year's 74th case of Enterovirus-71 infection involving an 11-month-old boy.

He developed fever and rash on his hands and feet on July 13. He was admitted to Princess Margaret Hospital on the same day and was discharged on July 15.

The boy has not travelled abroad recently and his family members did not show any symptoms.
