The Centre for Food Safety has resumed processing applications for importing British poultry, except from Suffolk, Norfolk, Oxfordshire and Warwickshire counties.
Import applications were suspended in June after avian influenza H7 cases at Oxfordshire poultry farms.
The centre said the resumption has been made in view of the control measures taken by British authorities and no further avian flu cases have been reported.
Restrictions remain for Suffolk, Norfolk, Oxfordshire and Warwickshire and the centre is monitoring the situation.
