Closure orders on sushi shops lifted
*
Food & Environmental Hygiene Department

The Food & Environmental Hygiene Department has lifted closure orders imposed on Itacho Sushi on Hennessy Road, Wan Chai, and Itamae Sushi on Hoi Yuen Road, Kwun Tong, as the immediate health hazards on the premises have been eliminated.

The Wan Chai restaurant and the Kwun Tong food factory were closed June 16 and 17 following food poisoning reports. The operators have taken remedial measures after the closure, including thorough cleaning and disinfection of the premises as well as upgrades in workflow procedures.
