Centre for Health Protection

The Centre for Health Protection has confirmed a respiratory tract infection outbreak affecting nine boys and 12 girls aged six months to three years from a Causeway Bay children's residential home.

Since April 25, they developed fevers, coughs and sore throats. All of them consulted private doctors or out-patient clinics and none needed hospitalisation.

Staff from the centre have conducted field visits to the home and provided health tips. For prevention tips, click here.
