The Centre for Food Safety has resumed processing applications for importing poultry from Poland and the UK, except Suffolk and Norfolk counties.
Import applications were suspended in November and December after highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1 cases on poultry farms in the two countries.
The centre said the resumption has been made in view of the control measures taken by the countries and because no other avian flu cases have been reported there.
However, restrictions remain for Suffolk and Norfolk as the centre is still monitoring the situation there.
