Panel formed to probe maltreatment claim

*
Hospital Authority

The Hospital Authority has formed an investigation panel to investigate an allegation of maltreatment at Cheshire Home, Chung Hom Kok.

A man complained about problems with medical staff during his stay at the home on a radio show yesterday.

The panel will be chaired by Cluster Service Director (Quality & Risk Management) Dr Tang Chung-ngai. Members are Cheshire Home Hospital Governing Committee member Dr Wong Chun-por, and the authority's Public Complaints Committee member Sandra Chow and Hong Kong East Cluster General Manager (Nursing) Civy Leung.

A report will be submitted in four weeks.
