Unsafe aquarium lighting

Fire hazard: Five models of JEBO aquarium lights, such as the R331 model, have been recalled due to fire risk.

*

The Electrical & Mechanical Services Department urges consumers to stop using five models of JEBO aquarium lights which pose a fire risk.

The models are R331, R338, R352KG, R362KG and R375KG. Their supplier Carkey Aquarium has initiated a recall of the models due to an overheating threat.

The models were supplied to the local market between May 2005 and last November. Call the supplier on 2432 0880 or 2406 9992 for more information.
