*

More than 548,000 people visited the HK Flower Show 2008 from March 14 to 24 at Victoria Park - 21,000 more than last year.

The Leisure & Cultural Services Department will distribute plants in good condition to gardens and parks it manages,  as well as schools and charity organisations.

More than 200 organisations from 21 countries participated in the 11-day flower show. It also featured a series of fringe activities including music and dance performances, floral art demonstrations, cooking demonstrations, green talks and games.
