Youth portal scheme invites enrolment

*
Lawrence Cheng to host youth workshop

Media mentor: Media veteran Lawrence Cheng will share his experience with youngsters at the first creative workshop held by youth.gov.hk.

*

The Government's youth portal youth.gov.hk has launched a membership scheme for teenagers offering fabulous privileges and exclusive web functions.

Members can share a broader scope of multimedia and creative space online. Youth-oriented and culturally nurturing fun-filled activities and themed visits will also be organised.

The first will be a two-hour creative workshop hosted by media veteran Lawrence Cheng on March 15 at the Museum of Art. The creative guru will share his experience with 100 lucky members. Interested youngsters registering as members before February 15 can win a free ticket to the workshop.

The Members' Zone will also be launched when the website revamps in March with monthly short quizzes on daily life topics and art and culture with top prizes.
