Surplus flat sale drive finalised
*
Housing Department

The Housing Authority has drawn up a detailed sales programme for surplus Home Ownership Scheme flats in 2008. A total of 6,300 flats will be put on sale.

The authority said Phase 3 will be launched early next year offering 3,100 flats while Phase 4 will launch in the latter half of 2008 offering 3,200 flats. For more details click here.

The authority said due consideration has been given to a balanced mix of flats of different designs and districts, and defect rectification and maintenance works when drawing up the programme.

The sales programme of 16,600 surplus flats in phases from 2007 to 2009 was approved by the authority last year.
