Centre for Health Protection

The Centre for Health Protection has confirmed an imported Dengue fever case involving a 26-year-old Indonesian woman who arrived in Hong Kong November 29, bringing the year's total to 57, all imported.

She developed fever and headache on November 30 and was admitted to Pamela Youde Nethersole Eastern Hospital two days later. She is now stable.

Hong Kong saw 31 Dengue fever cases last year, all imported. Click here for prevention tips. The latest information on Dengue fever in other places can be found here.
