Roving display features insects' lives

*
Large Green Mantid
A bug's life: A large green mantid makes itself a butterfly breakfast - one of dozens of displays that reveal details of insects' lives.
*

A roving exhibition that highlights the world of insects will open at the Tai Po Waterfront Park on Saturday, before moving on to five other Leisure & Cultural Services Department parks.

The exhibition will introduce 37 insect specimens and models normally on display at the Insect House of Tai Po Waterfront Park through text and photos on display panels.

A 45-minute talk will be given at 11.30am, 2pm and 3pm during the two-day exhibition at the park. Children can participate in educational fringe activities such as an insect tour matching game, 3D insect puzzle and insect sliding puzzle.

The exhibit will be open at Tai Po Waterfront Park from 10am - 4pm November 10 and 11. Click here for the exhibition's schedule at the other five parks.
