13 ill in Cheung Chau food poisoning
*
Centre for Health Protection

The Centre for Health Protection is investigating the suspected food poisoning of 13 people who fell ill after eating at a Cheung Chau restaurant.

The five men and eight women, aged 26 to 80, developed abdominal pain, nausea, diarrhoea and vomiting after having lunch at the restaurant on August 19.

Five consulted Government clinics or private doctors for treatment. Another one was admitted to United Christian Hospital and is in stable condition.
