*
CHP logo (Eng version)

The Centre for Health Protection has confirmed an imported Dengue fever case involving a 22-year-old woman tourist, bringing the year's total cases to 11, all imported.

She developed fever, headache, muscle and joint pain and a rash on June 28 and was admitted to Princess Margaret Hospital when she arrived in Hong Kong on July 3. She is now in stable condition.

She had travelled to the Philippines and the Mainland with a companion during the incubation period. The companion did not show any symptoms.
