Health clinics to switch to 5-day week
*
Department of Health

Department of Health clinics for three services will switch to a five-day week from July 1. They are the tuberculosis and chest service, social hygiene service, and government dental services for civil servants.

The department said service level and efficiency will not be affected as weekday opening hours will be extended, and clinical services will accept bookings to cater for customer need. Dental services will maintain evening clinics and extended operating hours after the migration to a five-day week.

The department will continue to provide emergency and essential services on Saturdays, and closely monitor operations and fine-tune the changes as necessary.

Click here for more details, or visit the Government's five-day week website. Call 2961 8989 or email the department for enquiries.
