Disciplined services to host grand parade
*

The disciplined services will mark the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region with a grand parade at Hong Kong Stadium on July 15th.

The event will feature for the first time a silent drill jointly performed by five departments - the Police Force, Fire Services, Customs & Excise, Immigration and Correctional Services. Chief Executive Donald Tsang will officiate.

Other highlights include demonstrations by Customs drug-detector dogs, kung fu, umbrella dance, band music and pop singers' performances, artistic cycling and tower building.

The Security Bureau is organising the event. The Civil Aid Service, Auxiliary Medical Service and Government Flying Service will also participate.

Free tickets will be given out on first-come-first-served basis at all Home Affairs Department Public Enquiry Service Centres starting on June 18.
